Join us as Dr. Sarah Doherty presents her research on “Aliens Found in Waiting: Women of the Ku Klux Klan in 1920's Suburban Chicago.” Professor Doherty teaches history at Chicago’s North Park University, and she earned her doctorate at Loyola University. She is an Oak Park native and serves on the Illinois State Museum board as well as on the Board of Directors for the Oak Park River Forest Museum, where she co-curated the award-winning exhibit “Open House: The Legacy of Fair Housing.” This program is presented by STAR for all audiences.
