Oak Park Temple is a part of the Illinois Religious Action Center (RAC-IL), the Reform Movement's statewide advocacy organization. Together, we work to put Reform Jewish values into practice in the Land of Lincoln. Our recent listening campaign showed that Reform Jews across the state are urgently committed to the issues of gun violence prevention and affordable housing access. The Illinois legislature is in session, and it's time to make our voice heard!
At this launch of our 2024 campaign, you'll learn about the two bills RAC-IL is supporting this year, why they are important to us as citizens and as Jews, and how you can be part of the effort to pass this important legislation.
