Sukkot begins on Shabbat this year. The evening begins with a delicious meal prepared by the Green Chaverim incorporating fall produce from the temple garden. Then our festive service will take place outside in our beautiful sukkah. Take your first opportunity to wave the lulav and rejoice for the holiday!
The vegetarian menu was created by OPT member Tara Humphrey, writer, chef and educator in Oak Park, IL.
Menu is vegetarian:
Salad: Not your Mama's Waldorf Salad (Kale),
Soup: Vermicelli and vegetable soup (Fideo),
Entrees: Black Bean and Butternut Squash Enchiladas
Sides: Roasted brussel sprouts with ponzu, and potatoes and onions with garlic and rosemary
Dessert: Apple hand pies
