Using Miriam Udel’s new anthology Honey on the Page: A Treasury of Yiddish Children’s Literature, attendees will explore the rich world of Yiddish storytelling through movement, art and poetry. This gathering, featuring Miriam Udel and local Yiddish TikTok sensation Cameron Bernstein, is aimed primarily at children 4-8 but will also offer a great deal to their older siblings and loving grownups. Participants will be included in a drawing to receive a copy of Miriam Udel's new book, Honey on the Page, including a bookmark signed by the author—10 copies will be given away. This event is sponsored by the University of Chicago's Center for East European and Russian/Eurasian Studies and the Greenberg Center for Jewish Studies.
