7:30 PM - 8:30 PMBuilding an Interfaith and Multiracial Jewish Community with Tani Prell
Nearly every Jewish family today is, in some way, interfaith. Today as well, assumptions about skin tones and racial backgrounds of members of the Jewish community are rightly questioned and challenged. Tani Prell is an antiracism trainer and the Chicago Community Director of 18Doors Chicago (formerly InterFaithFamily Chicago). She offers a vital and encouraging voice for communities such as ours to embrace more fully the beauty and diversity of everyone in our community.
