Reform Zionism and "Amplify Israel" with Rabbi Tracy Kaplowitz

What has Zionism meant for American Jews and the Reform Movement?  How is the relationship between Israelis and Reform Jews changing?  And what role can the Reform Movement play in rebuilding liberal Zionism both in the U.S. and in Israel?
 

Tracy Kaplowitz is a rabbi at Stephen Wise Free Synagogue in New York City, and directs the Amplify Israel initiative under the visionary leadership of Rabbi Ammi Hirsch.  She initiates projects that strengthen bonds between Reform Jews and Israel and the Jewish people. In 2025 she is leading three delegations of North Americans to Israel - 23 early-career rabbis to Israel as part of the Amplify Israel Rabbinic Fellowship, 25 young adults leaders in Reform Movement Alumni for Israel, and 180+ participants in Volunteer Birthright for Reform Jews.
