7:30 PM - 8:30 PMWoOPT Book Club
Join us on Monday, October 2nd at 7:30pm as we discuss Gangsters vs Nazis by Michael Benson. The stunning true story of the rise of Nazism in America in the years leading to WWII—and the fearless Jewish gangsters and crime families who joined forces to fight back. With an intense cinematic style, acclaimed nonfiction crime author Michael Benson reveals the thrilling role of Jewish mobsters like Bugsy Siegel in stomping out the terrifying tide of Nazi sympathizers during the 1930s and 1940s. The author will be coming to OPT in November, so read the book before he comes!
We will be meeting in person at the temple, with a ZOOM option.
Limited copies will be available at the Oak Park Public Library, please call in advance to make sure they are in.
ANYONE AND EVERYONE IS WELCOME… you don't have to be a woman, just need a desire to talk about great Jewish books! Join us and see what a fun group of people we are! For more information contact Sheila Pont at swpont@gmail.com
