Project Sandwich is our monthly volunteer opportunity to provide food for the needy.

We are pleased to share the good news that starting in May, Project Sandwich will be working with Housing Forward. We'll be providing lunches to their Medical Respite and Interim Housing program. Oak Park Temple has a long history of successfully partnering with Housing Forward, and we're excited about furthering that. 

Please prepare lunches at home, and bring 5 sack lunches, each with the following:

• Two sandwiches per lunch
• Chips or other snack
• A drink (juice box or water)
• A piece of fruit
• A dessert

Please use healthy, nutritious bread and plenty of filling. These meals may be the only food recipients get all day.

Drop your donation off outside the Berkshire entrance from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
