Phase 1 Pollinator Garden Planting
Saturday, July 13, 2019 • 10 Tammuz 5779
10:30 AM - 12:30 PM
As you may know we received a generous grant for $1,000 towards native plants, shrubs and trees a few months ago. With extensive planning and coordinating with the design team plus the OPT landscaper, we will be ready to get Phase 1 of the Pollinator Garden installed on July 13.
Come be part of this transformation! This is a big project and we need as many hands as we can get. With the expert guidance from Peter Slothower, from Nathan Wright Landscape, we will work together to put the plants in place. We have 4 areas to plant:
- Between the steps as you enter the building
- The area around the OPT sign to the north of the steps
- The area to the south of the steps
- The area west of the edible garden (the grass is being removed for this section)
The landscapers are preparing the space for us. Peter will guide us on where to put the plants. We need you and your family/friends to help. Bring your gloves/hand shovel. We will have some shovels to share.
Sign up now so we can be sure we have enough team members to help.
