OPT Great Books Discussion Group
OPT's Great Books group has progressed to the 19th century! We are switching gears to Ralph Waldo Emerson, starting with his great essay, “Self-Reliance,” which you can find here. You can also read a bit about Emerson on Wikipedia. We plan to move on to some of Emerson’s other essays after we finish “Self-Reliance.”
Come join us for a lively discussion on rugged individuality and the American spirit.
Our group meets weekly on Sundays at 4:30 pm on the Temple Zoom. Newcomers can jump in at any time. We hope to see you!
If you have any questions, please reach out to Lee Kantz.
