Please join Oak Park Temple in helping to bridge the digital divide.
We will be partnering with PCs for People to repurpose "retired" computer hardware. You are invited to drop off your surplus hardware between October 1 and October 10 in the social hall. PCs for People, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, will collect the hardware, delete the data, refurbish the equipment, and make it available to low-income individuals and nonprofits.
Sorry, CRT (tube based) monitors are not accepted.
Watch a 2 minute video that explains PCs for People.
Questions? Contact Loren Williams - 773-988-6908 or lwilliams@pcsforpeople.org
If your business or other organization has 15 or more usable computers to contribute, contact Loren directly to arrange a direct pickup of equipment.
