All Day for 5 DaysBooks to Prisoners
Midwest Books to Prisoners is an all-volunteer not for profit book store and organization based in Chicago. The goal is to directly support inmates by furthering their educational goals. They accept requests from any and all incarcerated people, and mailing them reading material that corresponds to their areas of interest free of charge.
They primarily rely on donations of books, magazines, scientific journals, and other print media in order to maintain a well-stocked library from which they can select materials to send to the inmates who contact them with requests. They accept textbooks, novels, scientific journals, nonfiction books, religious texts, magazines, educational materials, art books, poetry and essay collections, and many other reading materials. Nothing spiral bound.
