New York Times bestselling author Abraham Josephine Riesman grew up at Oak Park Temple. Her new book, Ringmaster: Vince McMahon and the Unmaking of America, is an investigative chronicle of the master performer behind American professional wrestling. Riesman is a board member of Jewish Currents and last spoke at OPT remotely after publishing her highly lauded biography of Stan Lee.

In this exclusive Chicagoland book launch, Riesman will explore Jewish themes that resonate with the story and success of pro wrestling. This talk is right for you if you're a fan of Jewish thought or wrestling, but no background is needed on either topic. Doors open at 6:30 and Riesman will sign books (for sale onsite by the Book Table) after the event.
