At Oak Park Temple, April 13 at 7 pm: 2nd THURSDAY – OPT Live!

A monthly event (for adults only) with interviews, stories, music, pizza, and hanging-out. Come and learn about the amazingly creative OPT community!

April Guest: Dorie Ellzey Blesoff!
Dorie has been creating and performing music since she was a teenager, having grown up singing cowboy ballads around a campfire in the Texas panhandle, and listening to her grandmother and mother harmonize and play church organ and piano. Her style has evolved from its roots in folk music and classical piano to include country-western, pop, light jazz, Gospel, and choir music. She shares her music in community, religious, and corporate settings, celebrating special events and in support of worthy causes.

April Musical Interlude with Stephan Kohnke!
Stephan is a professional drummer and percussionist of over 35 years. In 2007, his band “Dot Dot Dot” came in 5th place on Fox TV’s nationally syndicated “Next Great American Band”, which led to years of national touring. He still performs professionally, but his touring has been reduced to “weekend warrior” status.
