1:00 PM - 3:00 PMTikkun Together: Animal Care League
In Jewish tradition, tza’ar ba’alei chayim teaches us to treat animals with compassion and care. Join us as we partner with Animal Care League to explore this important value and learn about the vital work of animal shelters in our community.
After a brief introduction to the shelter and its mission, we’ll roll up our sleeves and get hands-on by making enrichment toys for the animals. These toys help keep the animals happy, stimulated, and healthy while they wait for loving homes. This is a fun, meaningful, and family-friendly way to live out tikkun olam, showing kindness and care to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
