Marta Block![]()
Marta is a former teacher turned marketing consultant. After surviving cancer and facing an impending empty nest and an unsatisfying day job, Marta thought she might need a whole new life. Instead, she returned to one she thought she’d left behind: comedy. She performs stand-up regularly around Oak Park and the Chicago area. Marta will share what her journey has taught her about humor and good communication, all rolled up in some good laughs!
Marta and her family — husband Danny, daughter Madeline (21), and son Joey (19) — have lived in Oak Park for 21 years and have been temple members for about 18 years (she thinks; it’s all kind of a blur).
Deadline to RSVP is Jan 7.
