10:30 AM - 11:30 AM

Food Security, Public Policy, and Jewish Values

Food security is a complex justice issue shaped by policy, values, and lived experience. Join Aaron Sofian, Field Organizer for RAC-IL (the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism in Illinois), as he explores food insecurity with us in Illinois through a Jewish and civic lens. Aaron will guide us through examining the policy landscape affecting food access, connect contemporary challenges to Jewish values, and discuss the role faith communities can play in advocacy and systemic change. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of the issue and concrete insights into how Jewish communities engage this work.

Let us know you plan to attend.
