In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month
“The Beauty of Breasts”

The presentation will encompass the importance of routine mammograms, recommendations for high risk women, the difference between 2D and 3D mammography, as well as surgical procedures including reconstruction, microsurgical reconstruction, lymphedema and improvements from the effects of aging and childrearing.

Rachel Pikelney will be showing her short film, Grace, chicagomediaproject.org/grace/, which tells an engaging story of a breast cancer survivor, post surgery.
