Interview Guest: Writer, Artist, and Creative Technologist, Karen Muriello
Karen Morris Muriello is a professional writer and serious amateur artist in photography, paint, stained glass, and jewelry. A tech enthusiast, she has held such roles as Vice President of Technology Marketing, Director of Web Services, Secretary to the Oak Park Temple Board of Directors, and Deputy Village Clerk for the Village of Oak Park.
Karen has had three back surgeries, and declared disability for back pain in 2012. In 2023 she wrote a pamphlet, My Last Ride, about living a full life with pain.

Musical Guest: Jay Arbetman
Born in Chicago in 1950, Jay's family made the familiar trek from Rogers Park to Northbrook in 1958.  Like many in his era, he was exposed to all types of popular music with the aid of a rust-colored transistor radio.
He has played the guitar in several OPT services with many other temple members, and he has performed with the Sinai Mountain Boys. Jay is married to OPT Educator Robin Arbetman. They have two daughters, therapist Laura and coach Ellie – as well as two cats (Rocky and Charlie) and two dogs (Oliver and Jack).
For a living, Jay sells shmattes. He has been a member of Oak Park Temple since 1988.
